Cancer is the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells anywhere in the human body, these cells are termed cancer cells or malignant cells. There are different types of cancer, some types cause rapid cell growth while other cause slow cell growth and division. Of the various types of cancer, breast cancer is one of the most common.
Breast cancer is cancer that develops in breast cells and they typically form in the lobules (glands that produce milk) or the ducts of the breast. Cancer can also picture in the fatty tissue within the breast. Breast cancer is most common in women but can occur in men too so breast cancer awareness is for everyone.


TYPES OF BREAST CANCER



Breast cancer is the broadband term for this disease but they are various types of breast cancer, some rarer than others. Here are a few types;
✅ Angiosarcoma

✅ Ductal carcinoma in situ

✅ Pagers disease of the breast
✅ Invasive lobular carcinoma

✅ Triple-negative breast cancer

✅ Inflammatory breast cancer


SYMPTOMS OF BREAST CANCER

In its early stages of breast cancer may not cause any symptoms and in many cases, the tumors may be too little to be felt unless seen under a mammogram. Each type of breast cancer can cause different types of symptoms so here are drive common symptoms of all types of breast cancer.
✅ A breast lump or thickening of the tissue that feels different from the surrounding breast tissue.

✅ Change in size, color, shape, or skin texture of the breast.

✅ Swelling or pain in parts or all of the breast

✅ A newly inverted nipple

✅ Discharge bloody or otherwise from the nipples off the breast.

However, these symptoms do not automatically mean you have breast cancer, so consult a doctor for further examination and testing before you start to worry.
